I started (really in-depth) using of blender in October 2021. And 10 months later, this is my first project. So I made pretty bongs.
I was inspired by old glass wares. Especially the kind of glass you see "in the back of your aunt's sideboard".
My main mission was to make it into something that does not necessarily look like a bong. But rather a functional piece of glass that can be used as something else also.
And. Interchangeability! Each piece has the same mouth opening which is the same diameter as a mason jar.
Downstems can be extended and shortened. Bowls fit the glass also accessories also in various ways.
And just for poops and giggles I overstyled it to look like an old Tupperware catalog.
Software Used:

The backstory.
I've been going through this mental head space whereby I feel a little devoid of purpose and ambition in my career. Especially with regard to clients not understanding what my job actually entails and lack of trust from our clients.
Now don't get me wrong. I'm super blessed with a good and caring boss who also tries to guide our work - but we still deal with humans on a daily basis.
So. A while back I saw a post from Seth Rogen who made this all-in-one rolling tray. I then thought to myself, "huh. Here's a guy who has a day job AND pursues a passion." I then decided to learn blender. And as always - with me at least - things escalated.
TL;dr. I felt purposeless and decided to learn a new skill. Still dealing with the feeling but at least I proved a point to myself.
